Alters are a subspecies that can range from every known species in the Omniverse. they can be recognized by their red eyes.

alters are able to use the power of reality-bending, one of the most powerful abilities in TTOS.

however they cannot just wave their fingers and be able to do anything, they need to know how to do it beforehand.

However, there is one thing that they cannot do, the celestials made it so that Alters cannot mess with Limbo, this includes bringing people back from the dead, and messing with the land. the celestials could not however stop them from bringing themselves back from the dead, so they made it when Alters die they are encased in a bubble that makes them unconscious
